MOT – Harrogate and Knaresborough

An MOT test is a legal requirement, but it doesn’t need to be inconvenient. At Great North Auto Services, we carry out Class 4 & Class 7 MOT testing at our dedicated testing bays at our workshops in Harrogate and Knaresborough, making the process simple and efficient from start to finish.

The test itself covers key safety and emissions checks, ensuring your vehicle meets roadworthiness standards. If any issues are identified, we explain them clearly and discuss the best way forward. Where repairs are needed, they can be carried out promptly in our fully equipped workshops, helping you get back on the road without unnecessary delay.

At Great North Auto Services, we don’t overcomplicate the process. Our aim is to keep things straightforward, transparent, and stress-free so you’ll know exactly what’s required to pass, with no hidden surprises.

An MOT doesn’t have to be a hassle and with the right setup and clear communication, it becomes a simple part of maintaining your vehicle. You can book timed slots, allowing for minimal waiting and a more predictable experience, so get in touch with our team today.

Excellent service. Communication was great throughout; from the initial query and booking process to the explanation following the MOT. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend and will be a repeat customer.

After having such awful experiences with a previous car garage and them charging me an absolute fortune for many years to get my car fixed, I took my car here for its MOT with Matt, all I can say is, I am a very happy customer. Matt was transparent with everything and explained everything to me and went above and beyond today and I am very grateful. Car was in and out in a few hours. Honest, trustworthy and great price. I won’t take my car anywhere else now. Would definitely recommend.
