What precautions will be in place for protecting visitors and staff from Covid-19?

We encourage all our customers to pay by phone or online and in the workshop facility we adhere to socially distanced handover protocols.

Our staff wear protective masks and gloves where appropriate and our customer service desks are furnished with protective screens. We encourage our visitors to wear protective masks and gloves for their own safety, but it is not compulsory.

At Great North Auto Services we are fully committed to the health and safety of all our staff and customers in particular in relation to the current Covid-19 outbreak.

After each service, before the car is handed back to the customer we perform a full wipe down of all the vehicle’s interior controls.

Will you walk your customer through the checks or repairs that have been made?

Yes – we take photos to record work that has been completed. We will discuss these with you and keep them on file. (Future developments include full body camera records).

Will you offer advice on maintenance?

Where it is necessary yes, but cars do most of the talking nowadays.

What warranties come with the different parts / services?

Aftermarket: 12-month warranty typically (limited mileage).
Original Manufacturer Parts as option.
